Alejandra Blanco is a self taught artist. She works by applying layers of oil paint to create realistic renderings of everyday objects. Her inspiration comes from the things that have surrounded her throughout her life. Having moved a lot throughout her life, she has found comfort in these familiar objects which become a source of stability. Through her art, she captures the beauty in the ordinary, inviting others to pause and appreciate the details that are commonly overlooked.
